How to Connect FloDesk Form to Squarespace

by | Nov 18, 2021 | Email Marketing, SquareSpace | 0 comments

Figuring out how to connect a FloDesk form to Squarespace can be a little tricky – but once you get the hang of it, FloDesk actually integrates better with MailChimp than most platforms. And you don’t need to use Zapier, unlike most email marketing services that don’t have a native integration in Squarespace (like MailChimp).

Watch the video or follow the steps below.

Creating your form in FloDesk

First things first, make sure that you have both a MailChimp and a Squarespace account. You don’t need to even think about this step until your Squarespace site is set up and you’re looking to connect your newsletter opt-in. Unlike MailChimp, you will not need the newsletter opt-in block in Squarespace to connect your form and get people onto your FloDesk list. Instead, you’ll design your form top to bottom in FloDesk.

In FloDesk, you’ll create your form in the Form tab, circled in red above. You’ll see the black button in top right “+ New Form” – simply click this and follow the steps. You will want to create an inline form in order to embed it on your Squarespace page.

Remember, you form will appear on your site exactly as it looks in FloDesk, so take your time in customizing the fonts, button and background color.

Once you have your form created, the last step will show you the code that you will add to your Squarespace website. This may sound complicated – but I promise you can do it.

All you need to do is grab the Inline code – so copy that. Then open your Squarespace page and add a code block. Paste the code into the code block. And you’re all set!

Best of luck! Xx, Kara
